Sullivan Barrera is ranked in the top 10 by the WBC, the WBA, and the IBF.

He is also the mandatory challenger for the IBF belt. If he wasn't fighting Ward next then Sergey Kovalev would be forced to fight him.

I like this fight a lot for Ward, but how exactly is Barrera getting into top10?

I'd say those 9 are undisputable and have at least 1 or 2 fights that prove their ability. And there's a lot of competition for that 10th spot - you can easily make arguments for Alvarez, Rodriguez, Chilemba, Cleverly, Braemer.. I mean, you can even argue for shadow of Dawson or Mr. Taco Bell to belong on the list.

Barrera is good and very promising, there's no doubt. But to argue that he definitely belongs on a top10 LHW list is a joke.

I don't think Sullivan is top really but then again how were Rosado, Proska, Adama, Stevens and Monroe Jr top 10 either, yet those names get lumped together to create GGG's 7 or 8 top 10 contenders defeated in a row. The same ones that were using that line are suddenly switching up their tone.

The flip flopping double standards, hallmarks of a true GGG fan.
