    While his upcoming fight has not been determined, former world champion Kiko Martinez (35-6, 26 KOs) will travel on Sunday to Puerto Rico to start training again under the command of Gabi Sarmiento, who used to be the trainer of former middleweight champion Sergio Martinez.

    Kiko could end up being a tougher fight than Mares. Unlike Mares, Kiko can actually **** and had Quigg backing up the first round. Santa Cruz does not have the same punch that Quigg has and only knocks out the second tier stiffs.

      So Sarmiento is allowed to travel to the US now? It will be interesting to see if he can make more champions.

        Yes, he says so. FYI, Sarmiento's gym is in Puerto Rico, Canary Islands, Spain.

            Ah, ok. I thought it was in the other Puerto Rico and was wondering why he chose to go there. It seemed a bit strange.
