How amazing would the Canelo vs GGG PPV card be if it had...

Roman Gonzalez vs Carlos Cuadras at 115 for Cuadras' WBC crown and Francisco Vargas vs Takashi Miura II for the WBC super featherweight crown?

I know Gonzalez is planning on returning this March and wants to go after Cuadras in September. Plus, we all know Canelo wants that September date as well and GGG is down to fight at any date, as long as he gets his shot at Canelo. Cuadras already admitted wanting the Roman scrap himself, however he needs to get past the hard hitting Thai and ex champion, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai.

That would be one sick card and it's very possible since K2 manages GGG and works with Roman. Francisco Vargas is under GBP and both Miura and Vargas are down for the rematch. This would also give Vargas a chance to defend his belt and fully recover from the vicious cuts he endured in his previous war wih Miura.

Damn, 3 title fights with 3 top 10 PFP fighters showcased in one night. i wonder what the prize tag for such a stacked card would be .

Would be worth the price tag, that's for sure.

Exactly. Between what canelo and ggg want to get paid and the general greed of promotors...there wouldn't be enough $ for that undercard.

                Not really an expensive undercard.

They can get both of those fights combined for under a million dollars.

                Gonzalez will make 500k
                Vargas will make 250k

The opponents will make 150k or less

If the fight is in September there are many good matchups that can be made with great fighters. k2 has Golovkin, Roman, Usyk...Golden Boy has Canelo, Vargas, and several of their good prospects are coming of age now.

Thats over a mil. With the way ppvs are selling theses days...that's significant in terms of the promoter turning a profit.
