They need to pay him that Lemieux money or better, Saunders isn't worth it and paying that amount would be ******ed but unless he is getting that sort of deal no reason to take that fight from his side.

It is what it is, Tuerano Johnson needs 500 grand Saunders can earn close enough to the offer that it is not worth it. Plus is there really that much difference between Johnson and Saunders in term of caliber to really care.

Let Saunders try to do something maybe it works out better later on, if he gets beat who cares nothing of value was lost.

      Depends.

      Is Larry a mover/spoiler, or is he a limited flat-footed puncher ?

If Larry is a mover/spoiler, then he needs to go and sit in the corner with Ward and Lara.

But if Larry is a limited flat-footed puncher, with no standing whatsoever within the sport, then he is likely already on their short-list.

I have no idea if that's how much he makes. Stevenson gets paid 2 million a fight in montreal fighting bums, so maybe saunders does make okay money. but he's only been champ a minute.

Per ESPN, K2 offered Saunders £2.2million ($3.2mill). If HBO's willing to keep the same money for an earlier show so that it could be in the UK, it sounds like Saunders/Warren would accept.

              Do you think they'll accept?

Have you heard anything from the WBA convention a few weeks ago regarding GGG-Jacobs?

Yeah, considering GG is always willing to fight anywhere. Man, it's possible team GG could call Saunder's bluff on this one. Fatal mistake.

I'm hopeful, but honestly don't know. Warren is going to contact Loeffler at the end of next week for negotiations. Warren/Saunders are pretty much deciding if they want to cash out should they accept.

And there's been no word by the WBA, which makes me believe there won't be an order from them to have Golovkin defend vs Jacobs this year b/c Jacobs' would still need to face his mandatory first and that looks like it will be delayed with Eubank taking another fight first. The WBA is the least trust worthy of all the orgs. If we get Golovkin/Saunders, I want Jacobs to fight Lee (Andy only loss by MD).

With Golovkin as the #1 MW, Danny's really the #2, with Saunders #3 (Canelo's never beaten anyone that's weighed over 155lbs).

Golovkin's long overdue for the UK market. It was a lost opportunity to fight Martin Murray in Monte Carlo instead of Manchester. He needs to grow his presence there for possible future fights with Eubank, DeGale, and Ogogo.

Now that I think about it, if Jacobs can't secure BJS, GGG, etc. A good fight will be Lee.

Also, how did Jacobs mandatory become Eubanks with GGG's mandatory being Johnson?

Eubank is mando for the WBA regular title while Johnson is mando for IBF title. Eubank is likely fighting Nick Blackwell in February/March then maybe accept the Jacobs fight. Jacobs hasn't had a mandatory defense of his title yet and I think that's required before he'll be mandated to fight the Super Champion - Golovkin.

Andy Lee is still a top 5 MW, he didn't lose by stoppage like Lemieux & Quillin. No better option for Danny if he's looking for real fights. Andy was going to be Jacob's top option before, and Lee lost a close decision. I'm willing to bet that DiBella is trying to make that fight.
