I dunno about Imam but I wish Garcia had fought Postol instead of avoiding him. I'm not sure he would've won a single round, which is lucky because you pretty much need to clearly win 12 of the 12 rounds to get a decision against Danny.

I wonder how long he can keep fighting guys who aren't even top 10 in his division before he gets forced to take a dangerous fight. I'm thinking he faces Thurman or Spence in 2018, maybe later than that though.

Garcia in 2016 take the Welter Weight Title

You have to beat the top ten fighters of the 147 division this year. Also you should seriously consider rematches against Herrera, and Peterson. They will take the fight at 147. You know what they bring to the ring, and they believe that they beat you the first time around. Show them that their wrong, and more importantly the fans, and the boxing experts. This can be your pound for pound year. fix your defensive skills, and become a more effectively aggressive fighter. there are other gifted fighters at 147, and they want their own recognition. You have to be ready for these new challenges, in order to be mentioned in the same ranks of Trinidad, Gomez, Benitez, Camacho, Rosario, Cotto, and so on.

Hes right but he was just trying to build his name up. Still think Imam is a solid fighter and hope he gets back in soon.

He's right. Dudes look at BoxRec and records and think these guys are bums then when they actually get in the ring with similar types of opponents they get shocked at how tough and relentless some of them are.

You got to remember, some fighters aren't signed with big name promoters that build them up and bring them up slowly. There are good fighters out there that are consistently put in tough fights and accrue a few losses early in their careers.

Imam is a great example of why people need to chill out with always predicting prospects to jump up and beat the **** out of the proven world class fighters. Many of them have setbacks like Imam did, and many of them never live up to the hype. We'll see if Imam does. That's the other side of the coin, now people will act like Imam is a bum when he could still easily recover and go on to be world class.

The way people were calling him the best fighter at 140 is totally unfair to the best fighters in the division.

You say it like Herrera is a bum though?? He's one of your favorite active fighters. Lol Danny was suppose to beat him but it's not like Herrera is garbage. And how are comparing a close fight with a decision that went the wrong way to a guy that got ktfo??
