I don't think Parker is the biggest puncher, it's his skill and sharpness/explosiveness that's most impressive for me.
Parker would beat the **** outta Whyte.
I'd like to see Parker fight Takam and/or Jennings by the end of this year, then he can target a title early next year.
Parker has shown defensive liabilities and we don't know what his chin is like
Whyte is a very hard puncher, and likes the overhand right (which parker is open for)
Whyte also absorbed an absoloute shelling from Joshua for 7 rounds and Joshuas forward firepower eclipses parker by a large margin for my money, so as I say I think it's a good fight.
Not saying whyte wins, but Parker would be made to work harder than he has against the old fat men he's fought so far and we'd find out more about him,Comment

it's too early to say, since we haven't seen parker fight a single opponent who came to the ring thinking they could win (which whyte would)

Depending on how Whyte feels after his loss this could be a fight we see towards the end of this year.
Joshua and Parker don't fight until at LEAST one of them owns a strap.Comment

He's a tough, durable guy, but skillwise he's just not very good.
I'd rather see Parker fight somebody higher level like Jennings or Takam, he's ready.Comment

With all due respect to Whyte, he's terrible my friend. He's a C+ fighter at best. True he's better than anyone Parker has fought so far, but that's not saying much. They've fought pretty much the same level of competition, obviously excluding Joshua, and I've been far more impressed with Parker, they are leagues apart.

Yeah he mentioned recently that Takam turned down a fight with him, I hope they can offer him more cash and get that fight signed after Parker's fight later this month.Comment

A Takam fight would go a long way towards telling us just how good JoJo is. He's tough, mentally durable and brings heavy consistent pressure for twelve rounds. More importantly he's already had competitive showings against the likes of Thompson (win), Perez (draw) and Povetkin (loss) so we know he's no pushover. A fringe dweller like Ustinov would also be a decent step up, though not as meaningful a fight as Takam obviously.Comment
