He needs to fight top 10 type of guys already.....he is readyy....hopefully he fight Algeri next before facing a champion at 147...
I think Spence has been moved along at the right pace. No doubt he's talented but he's still learning. For example in his last fight he ate some flush shots before figuring out his opponent. Had he taken those shots from someone like Thurman he might have suffered his first loss.

People are justifiably excited about his potential but folks should remember he's only been a pro for just over two years.

His lack of head movement really bothers me. He needs to be more responsible on defense before stepping up. He gets hit with some silly shots.

lets hope he makes it to the lara level where he can make a million dollars in order to figth bums. right now spence isn't making anywhere near that much to fight his bums. its really not fair.

Don't need to worry about Spence. He's most likely a focus for Haymon for whoever long PBC lasts.

Glad someone else notices that too. Not trying to talk down on the kid, it takes time to develop into a complete fighter. Hopefully he continues to work hard and ignores the premature anointment as "The next big thing."

errol spence isn't even that good to begin with. he should be happy that he's signed to haymon. look at all the stiffs he's fought on pbc. they know that he's a couple of fights away from a devastating ko. he's constantly off balance.

Which fighters do you rate better than him at similar stages of their career?
