Sullivan Barrera vs Ward is actually a good fight. Maybe you just don't pay enough attention to the light heavyweight division to know who he is

Just looked him up. The guy is 17-0 and a Cuban amateur. So he has to have some boxing skills. Interesting choice of opponent. Is there a catch tho?

I'm gonna have to youtube this guy to get a measure of what his skills are like.
Wow! So he was a bum before you even knew him.

Barrera is a solid prospect. He is actually the perfect opponent for Ward to test Lt heavy waters. He is a true Lt Heavy and seems fairly solid.

If Ward does fight him, I will be impressed.

Sullivan Barrera is not a bad opponent. Plus he officially weighed in 172 in his last fight so maybe it'd be easy for him to agree to a cw w/o consequence.

Give him a look and give me an honest opinion on what you think. You can argue he may not be ready for this step up but he has a strong amateur pedigree and is solid.

Why you people think that Ward will actually fight Barrera?
