In fairness, most of Bernard's early defenses were crap also. I look at GGG as facing about 6 real good fighters in his division. To me he has a way to go. Looking at him though he seems to be doing it all easy and should be around for a while.

If he were to retire today, hell no. If he beats Canelo and whoever holds the WBO to become undisputed, a case could certainly be made for it.

Prince Hamed is in the hall of fame. Anybody can get in the hall of fame. Hall of fames are a joke except the baseball Hall of fame.

Well Sturm may have been the real champ, who also refused to fight him. Politics prevented him from beating Sturm up. I will not hold that against him too much.

Like I said he still has a way to go. It looks like he may have some things lined up, and I also know he was ducked by many. Could he be further advanced than he is now? Hell yes. If you look at his record, it is somewhat embarrassing, but over the past 2 years some good names are in that mix and he is getting enough clout now to maybe land the big fights.
