I'm fine with this fight. Top Rank putting these two on the same billing is just building towards an eventual collision course. Hopefully before Crawford leaves 140.

going to leave this here so some of you can get some perspective ...

'nelo fought a guy who was 5-17 for his 20th pro fight
margarito fought a guy who was 8-8 in his 20th fight
jose benavides fought a guy 16-14 his 20th scrap

enjoy the development of this guy, he'll be fighting for top 10 contention soon and then going after those belts.

it's disgusting to see the amount of complainers there are in boxing. you'd think fans of this sport would be more in tune to what's going on in the hardest sport in the world, development is key in this game.

          it is what it is.

Already Fans complaining, Felix Verdejo is only 22 yrs old and got the least 15 years more to go, let him learn and grow, i know he's the blue chip prospect but he will fight the top guys from this year and on...

And Pedraza fought for a title in Alabama on his 20th. Now he's headlining and defending himself. I guess he's a quick study.

And yet, Verdejo is 1000x more popular than Pedraza because of **** like that. Why the hell would a Puerto Rican stud fight in Alabama? Bob Arum is a di*k but he would never screw up so horrible on something like that. Verdejo has a real promoter, and he is being built up coming off a pretty serious hand injury. He will have to step up soon regardless.
