Ali is a good fighter and this will tell me if he is a legit contender at WW. I don't think it's a big enough fight for a title but Ali has been the mando for a while.

They could've had this fight back in December but Vargas turned it down, what a waste of time.

I feel bad for Ali, but he's repeatedly getting burned by trusting the WBO. He should've accepted the step-aside money for Bradley/Rios and had a stay busy fight on the Golovkin/Lemieux undercard.

I dont see what the big deal is about Sadam Ali. Im not a Jessie Vargas fan but lets be real, Vargas is and will be Ali's biggest test to date. Also just because Tim Bradley beat Vargas "relatively" easy does not mean Ali can, Tim Bradley is on a totally different level than most want to give him credit for and Vargas did hold his own in spots vs Tim and looked somewhat impressive doing so. I think with a whole training camp with Erik Morales, Vargas will be ready especially if Morales gets Vargas to commit a little more to his punches which Im sure he will and Vargas will need to stand taller like Morales used to fight when he was at 122-126lbs.

          LOL.

Bradley would've beat him like that too, but he didn't box smart.

Vargas is like the new Paulie. Guy can't punch, although he did hurt Bradley. But that was almost a fluke.
