Comments Thread For: Arreola's Coach Tabs Glazkov To Win, But Pulling For Martin

Henry Ramirez, trainer of heavyweight contender Chris Arreola, is a very interested observer of the upcoming clash between Vyacheslav Glazkov and Charles Martin. The fight will be broadcast on Showtime in chief support of the Deontay Wilder-Artur Spzilka main event on January 16th from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The vacant IBF heavyweight title will be the prize at stake for Glazkov and Martin.

Surely Arreola will get a shot at Wilders WBC in April or May.

No. Wilder is planning on fighting his mandatory during that timeframe, unless Povetkin asks for more time again.

What do you guys think about Charles Martin? Has he a chance against Glazkov?

If Povetkin chickens out again then Wilder must fight the winner of Glazkov/Martins.

Hopefully Martins is the winner because we all know that Kathy Duva will sabotage negotiations and then point the finger at the other team like a naughty kid in the school playground.

I've went back and watched all the fights I could find of these two on youtube. I'll actually be shocked if Martin loses. Martin is there to be hit, but I just don't think Glazkov has the power to keep Martin off him for twelve rounds. I'm guessing KO in the 6-8 round range.
