Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Ex-Trainer: No Surprise if Trilogy Ends in Draw

The trainer who steered Manny Pacquiao to his first world title – the WBC flyweight championship when he knocked out Thailand’s Chatchai Sasakul in the 8th in December 1998, says he doesn’t believe Pacquiao’s third bout with Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley will be an easy fight.

The showdown is set for the MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 9, some eleven months after Pacquiao dropped a unanimous twelve round decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr in the “Fight of the Century” last May 2, 2015.

This time around Bradley will win 8-4 conclusively but the judges will give it to Pacquiao.

Pretty accurate prediction. Nothing about this fight will be exciting or decisive. Seriously who cares I hope Arum loses his ass.

By my count Bradley won 5 rounds in the second fight and he was largely unmarked. Manny was tentative and hesitant to engage in those rounds, just like was against Floyd. But Bradley switched strategies and it cost him. Thus why I don't think it's a "clear Manny victory" like everyone claims.

Plus, there's the possibility that Manny is vulnerable to body work as seen against Margacheato. Bradley's body work against Rios was the only reason he was able to stop him - and this is a guy said to have no power.

If you honestly think Rios was stopped because of Bradley's new found power, you are not a very smart boxing guy. Rios was a monster against Manny but he was damaged goods against Bradley. Bradley could've lost to the Rios that Manny faced. Manny put a beating on him and while Rios was laughing, he clearly has not been the same fighter since. You showing the body shot that Cheeto hurt Manny with means absolutely nothing. Cheeto was a BIG, STRONG man, fighting a LITTLE man. Bradley has feathers in his fist and doesn't have that type of power. Body shots affect every fighter who steps in the ring. To what degree is the question.

Bradley's going to win by robbery decision again since it's Pacquiao's last fight with Top Rank.

Yeah I was just thinking that the judging better be right.

Agree.. Not to mention Rios lack of keeping in shape in between fights..
