Mayweather reveals the one pain that he'll never forget

FLOYD MAYWEATHER'S REVEALS THE ONE PAIN HE'LL NEVER FORGET: "THAT MOMENT LEFT A CHIP ON MY SHOULDER"

"I love my fans. You gotta realize this, when I go to other places, once again, I bleed the red, white, and blue, but I get more love in other countries than I do in the country that I represented. Remember this, I stood up on the podium, bowed my head down, and received a bronze medal, you know, got cheated in my country, and that's a pain I will never forget," stated retired undefeated former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather, who recalled the moment he was robbed of the glory of receiving a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics. According to Mayweather, it was a moment that fueled his drive to never lose a fight as a professional.

"That's a pain that I will never forget when I know I was cheated. But the great thing about that is, you know what I said to myself? I said you know what, I'ma hold my head up high because my country is behind me; my country loves me. That's just how I feel about that situation. That moment left a chip on my shoulder. It did. What I said to myself was, 'Never again! I will never lose again,'" Mayweather explained during a recent conversation with FightHype.com. After a 19-year career that saw him remain undefeated in 49 fights against a who's who list of world champions, Mayweather stayed true to his vow after that Olympic controversy, and throughout the years, he remained appreciative of all boxing fans, regardless if they cheered or booed for him.

"It's just like this, Italians root for the Italians, you know. I'm an American. I want the Americans to root for me first, you know. When I go to other countries, they embrace me with open arms and show so much love, and it feels good. That's why I wake up every day and give thanks to God. Any fan that I ever see with a TMT hat on, or a TMT shirt, or a TMT accessory, even the people with the bootleg TMT where they make bootleg shirts and bootleg hats, even though I know it's not right, but I was once told, once your stuff gets bootlegged, then you know you made it. There's been times where I know people had bootleg items on and I still took a picture with them," Mayweather added. "Everyone that's reading this interview, I just want to say thank you for buying every fight that you bought; for even tuning in watching the free fights that I fought. For buying the Money Team hats, for buying the Money Team shirts, for flying out to Las Vegas, I really just want to say thank you, and I really mean that. That's genuine and I really mean it."

He had me until the not so subliminal "Buy TMT" sales pitch at the end.

Reading comprehension isn't your thing I take it?

He said he appreciates anyone who shows him love, even the bootleg "fans".

anyone who has to keep saying he's being genuine and "really means it," is full of ****.

I thought that was going to be the thing that hurt him, and not the tight socks excuse, shoulder excuse, talking to God a month before Floyd beat PAC excuses.

                  USA USA!

Because it's true. If you had any world experience instead of the internet you'd realize it, as well. Don't take that as an insult, most people in the world experience it through a computer nowadays. By doing that you miss out on real insight of people. The people who are always trying to convince you that they are telling the truth, or are good people, are always full of ****.
