    A Floyd-manny Rematch Wouldn't Do Big Numbers

what makes people so confident that a rematch would be a huge event?

Many people felt cheated out in the original match due to the lack of action. I'm not convinced that they're silly enough to think manny can become Maidana

It would still do at the minimum 2M ppv views

            2 mil because of who?

The myth that manny would be Floyd's toughest fight has been flushed down the ****ter

I could still see pinoys buying it because they get down for their guy. Same with Floyd fans. Mexicans too because they love boxing.

But the rest of mainstream America is turned off

At worst its the 4th biggest PPV of all time behind Floyd vs Manny I, Floyd vs Canelo & Floyd vs Oscar if it were to happen anytime soon. So sure it won't meet or surpass the first fight numbers, but its not gonna fall off that much even if they have a 50% of whatever drop in buys for the first one.

It would probably do half of what the first did and that's still 2 million. I wouldn't pay $100 though, maybe $75...

They won't be getting the casual money this time around.

I hope it wouldn't but we know boxing fans are largely quite ****** and most people buying into the rematch are simply fighter fans, so it would easily surpass 2 million PPV buys in the US alone.

Again, I wish it wouldn't. Both guys should be booed out of the sport imo. They put on a sparring match for thousands of dollars in terms of ring seats and a $100 fee for people watching at home. **** them.
