Comments Thread For: Broner Vows To 'Beat The ****' Out of Theophane

WBA junior welterweight champion Adrien Broner (31-2, 23KOs) was hoping to face Manny Pacquiao in April, but instead he will have to settle for Ashley Theophane (39-6-1, 11KOs) in early March.

Broner was recently approached by Pacquaio's adviser, Michael Koncz, to discuss the possibility of an HBO Pay-Per-View fight in April.

I don't think he cares about saving face at this point. Also, good payday plus an easy win? It's a reoccurring theme in Broner's career aside from the two fights that provided him with both of his career losses.

just sounds like a ***** move on his behalf at the end of the day he signs the contract and porter is always ready for the rematch.

No such thing as an easy win with Broner. Paulie was supposed to be an easy win too.

This fool has stepped up twice and been embarrassed both times.

This will be Broner's legacy. The Demarco win was decent but he'll make a career of beating up on fighters like Theophane and losing to actually good fighters when he steps up.
