Yup just like Ron Paul. Always raised the most money from general public. Always had the highest turn out at his rallies. But when it came time to vote (PPV's) he always disappointed.

OK but once is not always, right? Else you'd say Floyd has no Ppv potential cause his first Ppv only did 340k vs the more popular Gatti

Mayweather is a villain in boxing, what would motivate him to be charitable enough to fight GGG? A fight with Mayeather would provide GGG with all the physical advantages and a career payday....what's in it for Mayweather?

does anyone remember the good old days when floyd would avoid #1 guys in his own division? the excuses that flew out of the mouths of floyd fans were comedy gold: "he's not a ppv star", "he hasn't earned the fight yet", "floyd will beat him therefore he doesn't even have to fight him", "he lost to someone 4 years ago" that's a good one, it's still around and stood the test of time.

now its the same floyd fans who were making up these excuses that are saying ggg is ducking guys who are not even in his division and who he already tried to fight years ago but got rejected. times certainly change. its a shame they didn't have these amazingly high ducking standards when talking about their own fav fighters. weird coincidence!

they call it ducking when ggg chose canelo in 2016 over ward's offer to fight him in late 2016. so its ducking that he won't take less money and go out of his way/division to fight ward but when floyd actually took less money against lesser fighters instead of fighting the #1 guy in his own division its not ducking? that's why they have no credibility.

340k isn't bad for both guys first PPV. On his next two PPV's as the A-side he did 375k and 325k. Those are very good numbers when you aren't the featured fighter on HBO like Golovkin is.

The obsession with Floyd Mayweather on boxingscene is scary.

The man is retired just as many of you wished he would do. Move on with your lives.

His a side numbers were solid, but 340k as co A side vs Gatti is not impressive. Gatti is probably the least deserving HOF to date on achievement, solely there for his fame

It was both their first PPV. That's a good number for your first PPV. What do you consider a good PPV number on your first try? And like I said, neither Gatti nor Floyd were HBO's premiere boxer. GGG is.

90% of NSB already decided that GGG would break Floyds brittle bones and destroy him within a couple rounds.

Floyd is not really smart, but he is not a total ****** so he will never step into the ring with the guy that would make him look like a little running coward for a couple rounds and then knock him out unconscious.
