Ike Ibeabuchi is OUT and ready to fight....

I've just been hearing the president got an early release for good behavior and is ready to make a comeback at 43, possibly on the Manny-Bradley undercard.

    What's your thoughts?

I know next to nothing of him outside of his criminal behaviour. He is an insane Nigerian, yes? Surely he will have been deported, no?

He was 20-0 (15) and the best up n coming heavyweight prospect of the late 90's. Was the first man to defeat rising stars David Tua and Chris Byrd. Those were his two most notable wins and both fights worth checking out. Had the ring presence of a Sonny Liston.

He actually got out of prison in 2014 & has spent a ~1yr+ in one of the immigration jails like Alfredo Angulo was in for awhile so he seems to have somehow avoided being deported. I'm a lil surprised by that myself. If a aggressive/violent sexual crime that gets you locked up for a decade & a half doesn't get you deported I guess you gotta straight up kill or attempt to kill someone to get deported.

I understand he's not being deported because while inside he got two college degrees and time off his sentence for good behavior.

I don't expect him to make much noise in the HW division. He was a good contender in the late 90s, making Chris Byrd drool and winning that war with David Tua (which I felt Tua should have won), but George Foreman is a rare case. You can say he was a freak of nature, being out of boxing for 10 years and winning the HW title at 45.

Well we now know the undercard for Pacquiao/Bradley III.

I don't expect Ike to be like Mansour. Mansour was hungry as **** to prove himself while in prison and stayed hard the whole time. Ike seems different, he's got the mental issues so he's medicated which will **** with him training hard and I just question his hunger. He got his glory while active, people acknowledged his potential to have been on top, he more less got his recognition.

Wouldn't he need a boxing license in the state of Nevada? Sounds like a longshot.

Well if nothing else works out for him, Im sure he could get a roy jones fight in russia.....

actually, could probably get a tarver fight too. if he can still stay in the us, then the sanctioning part is easy with bum**** states like alabama.
