The fans of the sweet science will win, because it might be the most skilled matchup ever to take place in boxing history. It would definitely be a remarkable display of the nuanced application of the sweet science.

Rigondeaux didn't look too good in his last fight. He is also three inches shorter, and would be much smaller weight wise in the ring. However, Rigondeaux is the harder puncher, and hits hard enough to do his work one shot at a time. Lomachenko has top notch boxing, but doesn't seem to have much power. It would depend on which Rigondeaux shows up. The Rigondeaux from the Donaire fight should be able to outbox the bigger guy. He is that good when he is on point. The Rigondeaux from the last fight, who didn't have his timing down, offensively or defensively, would lose to Lomachenko.

I'd go for Loma. Rigo is on the decline and Loma is the younger, bigger man.

Lomachenko wins this fight. He's bigger, throws more combinations and he's good at turning his opponents he's also one of the smartest and strongest at featherweight and the only fighter around 122 or 126 that can beat Rigondeaux

My money is on Rigo. He looks bad against weak opposition but when you put him in with great fighters he definitely shines.

Lomo too big and Rigo getting too old and too inactive. Even in his prime Rigo had problems with bigger guys at 122lbs and 118lbs.

People think Rigo can do to Lomo what he did to Donaire are just ******ed. Donaire was a head hunter who relied on his athletic ability, Lomo would have stopped that Donaire.

I think ultimately Lomo can move up to 135lbs where Rigo is maxed out at 122lbs.

Bigger ain't got jack to do with it. If Rigo fights like he did in his last fight, Loma will have no choice but to pressure and get desperate with offensive attacks. This is when Rigo does his glorious counter attacks. Rigo's too fast for Loma.

One of the worst moments of this year was being prick teased by this fight.
