    Comments Thread For: Broner: People Want Me vs. Pacquiao; Arum Too Greedy!

    Adrien Broner blasted Bob Arum on Wednesday for matching Manny Pacquiao against Timothy Bradley a third time.

    Broner lobbied hard to land an April 9 fight against Pacquiao, but Arum made Pacquiao-Bradley III, a seemingly pointless pay-per-view event that has been bombarded with immense criticism from boxing fans and media. Arum’s Top Rank Inc. promotes Pacquiao and Bradley. Broner is advised by Al Haymon, with whom Arum hasn’t done business unless it was too lucrative to dismiss (Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr.) or mandated by a sanctioning organization (Vasyl Lomachenko-Gary Russell Jr.)

    Am sure if both Broner and Khan were under the Top rank umbrella, then the fight would happen without even thinking for a second.

      Absolutely, even if they were with anybody other than Haymon the fights would've been made easily, but Haymon is destroying the sport though, he's building walls instead of bridges though, he doesn't wanna work with anyone though. Double standards at their best.

        Broner Sounds Like Some Illiterate On Crack Yelling Obscenities From His Front Porch

        Nobody wants to hear from Broner let alone watch him fight Pac. He couldn't handle Maidana or Porter, easily beaten up in both fights. He's a waste of talent, just a foul mouth illiterate shouting his gay "about billions" statement; I'd say he's got a long ways to go to be "about billions". Better focus on staying in the Boxing business to start with and beating someone. He's like some scumbag running the ferris wheel at the State Fair, you hear him spouting off about his ride, and you walk by ignoring the crackhead. That's who Broner is.

          Very true that Arums greed is responsible for this completely interest free fight....but Broner would have been a bad fight too.Easy work for Pac.

              Why not Mallignaggi?

                  I'd have preferred Maliganggi aswell.

                  My ideal pick would be Crawford. But I won't blame anyone for not taking that for his last fight.

                  Other than that I'd have liked;

                  Broner - entertaining build up and fight and a easy fight for Pac

                  Malignaggi - entertaining build up, easy fight and a chance to pay him back for his words

                  Khan - entertaining fight and a definite KO for Pac.

                  All 3 of those would do decent numbers too

                    It's kind of funny that Bob is trying to sue over Haymon fightera not doing business with him when he ia showing that it is more about them not committing to him long term. He had the opportunity to do business with Broner but he is salty over him not signing a long term contract.

                    Essentially, he is doing what he accused Haymon of.
