Called up the homies I usually get together with for boxing and UFC and man not many of them even knew there was a Pacquiao fight tonight. Now most of them are more into UFC but they also keep up with sports in general and was surprised they didn't know. Don't think this fight will be getting a lot of casual support

You know it won't sell much when Broner vs Theophane thread has some 800 reply and this thread has around 300.

So what do you expect the fight to do PPV wise? I mean this thread was created at the end of December and only has a few hundred replies. Its not even a hot topic on a board for hardcore boxing fans, how do you think the general public feels about it.

so now its making manny harder to hit them clean with a flush shot. if u look at manny's fight pre 2010, all his opponents come at him right out the gate trying to **** with him. age does play a factor in this, pac is also getting old slowing down but the whole killer instinct is still there.

its just that manny cant delivery a ko because his opponents knows how to fight him so they wont get taken out themselves. if u're a fighter, stuff like finishing off the fight just dont suddenly disappear from your arsenal. he still have the killer instinct.
Fair point. You can't compare fighting Bradley to fighting Hatton. Just for me though this fight doesn't have me super excited. I think it'll be a good and entertaining fight, but I don't feel the need to see it. Part of the problem also is Pacquiao and Mayweather have already fought so there's not too much to look forward to if Pacquiao wins. I think Bradley wins this fight but what's next for him? I'd put money on a Vargas fight. I'm just sick of the Top Rank match ups. I'd be much more excited about this if it meant a possible Bradley vs Brook/Thurman/Porter/Spence or something but realistically it's going to be Vargas win or lose so once again we get another rematch from Top Rank.

Contrast this to the Khan Canelo fight. I think that's a much worse fight but it's much more intriguing because you have the what's next factor. What happens next if Canelo wins? Khan will lose but what happens next if he wins? Bradley vs Pacquiao lacks all of the what's next feeling.

Bradley is what makes this interesting because I truly believe he's the best fighter he ever has been with Atlas, but I dunno, this fight is just really meh for me. I think I might just end up watch the college hockey championship for free instead.
Atlas is going to get Bradley Knocked out.

because ppv buys is based of the amount of post each threads have on here? didnt know boxingscene is the main contribution to ppv buys.

im not gonna sit here and lie that its gonna hit a mil. this fight will prolly do less than the other 2, but u never know, this being bill as manny's last fight could boost up the buy at the last minute. i just find it funny that every time there's a fight with manny or floyd, there's always someone to come in and post something like they didnt even know the fight was this week. its like come on now, u follow the sports, u watch the boxing news media, u come on here, and your gonna tell me u didnt know the fight was this week? plus, add in all the gay comment drama shiiet that has been going around this past month and your gonna tell me nobody know that manny has a fight coming up when that was the main topic a few weeks ago, lol. (not directing this towards u, just speaking in general).
