                        Yes. Getting a title is one thing. A true champion is measured by how many times he/she can defend the title. This is how legacies are built.

                            But we're not talking about legacies here. We're talking about P4P status which, while influenced to some degree by resume, is mostly a hypothetical measure of who's the best at any one time. Otherwise fighters like Wlad would still be on there, which would be rather silly all things considered.

                                Defending a status he didn't fight for. Fury vs Klitschko was a PURE title bout. Golovkin just went from Interim and promoted to Champion. If i wasn't for the Rosado bout HBO wouldn't care. And that bout alone look at GGG's face fighting a non seasoned amateur late pro Rosado coming from 154...
