We'll see, despite all the speculation about Ward not being able to make 168 any more, I believe he still could if he wanted. He could have stayed at SMW and fought guys a lot less tough than Kovalev. But he signed a 3 fight deal with HBO in order to face off against the boogie man. Yes, he is fighting tune ups which I'm not that fond about, but he has been inactive for a long time. I don't think he would be fighting as many tune ups if he was active. I only see one more tune up from Ward, which will be his next fight. I see him fighting a good LHW mid 2016 then facing Kovalev late in the year. Who knows though, it's hard to support Wards inactivity and know for sure that he won't get injured again or find some other reason not to fight.

i've seen a man down on hooks with head gear..on wats u would call "slaps"I see the shot, I just don't think it was a legit ko shot, it was a slap with his lead hand, watch at 1:10. Even casuals who don't watch boxing know that was a dive. I've seen Scott take way bigger shots than that and survive. Consensus in the boxing community is that Scott took a dive, and I think the evidence is very clear to support that.
i saw a temple and ear shot..i wouldnt want my fighter taking it..Comment

if u watch more wilder fight u'll see his left hook starting his combos bc it hurts ppl and hten he jumps on them..same shot as in here..and malik just doesnt take punches well..
this is the 3rd shot in his career that landed on his ear/temple that put him down
and to my memory teh most flush oneComment

Excuses excuses, and you know danm good and well what i meant, Wilder should have been stripped February 2nd 2015. Happy now.wilder won his belt in january 2015...and u say he would have been stripped a year prior to that? ouch...see how wrong you are? he was the mandatory..and his negotiations didnt start until the summer when povetkin declared that he would not be ready if wilder stay active bc he would not stay active bc he's lazy and likely cycling off of ped'sComment

dude you sound so dumb..he was the mandatory challenger when he won the belt..the wbc is not going to make the guy who won a mandatory fight defend in another mandatory...he set a volunatry and then was ready for povetkin..ppl wanted him to make povetkin his voluntary...that is not up to them..he told povetkin he was next and povetkin for the first time asked for a tune upComment

imo povetkin is cycling off drugs and it very apparent..he will only fight 2 times a year and on top of that he's been out of shape in his career and now all of a sudden he turns into a ford truck...he's not floyd or manny that stays ready throughout the year bc they've always had that kind of ethic..he's the broner type.but all of a sudden that has changed..he's backed out of two fights bc if drug testing starts i think he knows he'll be in the crosshairsComment
