Hey, the chances are better than not that Wilder will get knocked off his perch. He started boxing at 20, relies on a powerful right hand, and at times literally looks like he's fighting his way out of a wet paper bag.
But I am intrigued by a monster that actually likes to punch. Too often with the big guys (Fury, Klitschko) they either can't punch or are unwilling to do so more often than not. Wilder-Povetkin figures to be a good scrap. I hope it gets primetime NBC billing and a proper promotion. Povetkin is listed as the #2 HW contender right now so it will be nice to see Wilder fight a second top-3 heavyweight contender in consecutive years.
