Comments Thread For: Postol/Provodnikov Manager on Crawford/Herrera Bouts

Vadim Kornilov manages two of the more popular fighters in the junior welterweight division, Ruslan Provodnikov and Viktor Postol. In 2015 both men were involved in two of the better fights of the year with coincidentally the same fighter in Lucas Matthysse.

Vadim Kornilov submitting early applications for his boys to enroll in USA's school of boxing. Last time Provo attended class El Maestro sent him back home for coming to class unprepared. & Im sure Bud will give Postol some extra time at recess to find his ears after TC boxes them off.

Where were those dudes talking about Crawford ducking Postol:

VP of Top Rank, Inc., Carl Moretti put out on social media that Postol wanted to have two fights in between before facing Crawford. To that statement, Kornilov said, “Well we thought it would be a good idea to have one or two fights before Crawford, but in reality if it all made sense we are ready to fight Crawford now.” - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/postol-pr....IyPsO0ik.dpuf

                  Both Matchups Would Be Good

I think Provo vs Herrera will be within the first 4 months of 2016

Postol vs Crawford will be in the summer at the earliest. Probably last part of 2016.

Both fights are good styles matchups. Hopefully the winner of these fights get a chance to fight each other down the road.

Provodnikov vs Herrera rematch would be dope as all hell but I doubt Él Maestro will stand in the pocket and go to war this time with the Serbian monster.
Most likely just jab his face away and move, hopefully Joel Diaz has improved Ruslan ten fold. I seen their first fight together and Ruslan definitely looked different by setting up his punches with an actual jab. I also liked how he went to the body more and used his strengths to his potential advantages instead of just plodding around throwin wild haymakers.

Crawford vs Postol would be boring early but I believe will heat up late. Crawford is smart and resourceful but he's never had to fight someone truly his size or bigger with skills...neither has Postol.
Postol is TALL for a jr welter and fights like a tall fighter early to take the steam of his opponents punches/frustrate them then he steps on the gas late and starts lookin like Paul Willaims throwin a lot of punches to break down an already exhausted/annoyed fighter.

                    50/50 fights both of them
