Comments Thread For: Ruenroeng-Casimero Rematch Negotiations in Play

Former BF light flyweight champion Johnreil Casimero, who lost in his bid to win the IBF flyweight title against Thai champion Amnat Ruenroeng in an ugly, foul-marred fight at the Hua Mark Indoor Stadium in ****kok last June 27, gets a chance to avenge that defeat in a mandatory title defense by the IBF champion.

Sadly. I think it's going to be Gio Segura

Very, very sad indeed. I would have been more excited to see Roman in with his mandatory Nawaphon Sor Rungvisai instead of Segura, but the WBC scrapped that fight. A fight with Ruenroeng was our only hope at not having to watch Gonzalez dismantle another faded champ.

Forget about it if the fight is held again in Thailand.

There is nothing about Gio that makes this fight good. For his safety, they better hope it ends super early

There's no doubt that he goes down quicker than Sosa. Segura probably needs that payday though, so he's game for the beating.

Welp I guess a Gonzalez vs Ruenroeng fight will have to hold till if both win their next fights and hopefully if Gonzalez vs Estrada 2 happens in the summer then we'll get that in the fall.
