Lol u Golovkin fan are wayyyy to defensive. 35 years old is quite old in boxing. Spending more than half a year out isn't good. Period.

Man, my comment went right over your head. I thought it was pretty straight forward.
      Hint: Google is your friend.

Also.. you do realize that 90% of "star" level boxers fight 2x a year, which is.. drumroll... ~6 months apart.

No way, Monroe beats Johnson 8 rounds to 2. Rewatch Johnson vs Gavronski, Theran, and O'Kane - he has nothing to offer Golovkin. He's a stalking pressure fighter with no power, average speed & footwork, sub-average defense. It's a farce that he was able to become a mando off the O'Kane win, absolute farce. Monroe atleast blew by guys like Kopylenko, Adams, and Vera overall losing maybe 2 rounds at most. He went into the Golovkin fight with atleast a speed advantage. Johnson has nothing to offer.

Cant stand GGG mainly because of his fans but this is what helps make him good, he actually fights a lot. Staying active keeps him sharp and in shape. No way given his style would he be the force he is if he were fighting once maybe twice a year, hell given his build itd probably kill him to make weight if he fought less often. If Canelo were smart hed take a 10rd (non title) fight in March/April than take his voluntary in May than GGG in September but my guess is Canelos about 185lbs right now and not even looking twice at a boxing ring. I hope Canelos team gets their head out of their @$$, he barely beat a career welter. He needs to focus on moving up and keeping his skills sharp in the ring, and that stamina of his needs a lot more than San Diego sea level training...

if they only plan to fight twice, hopefully they can offer a bigger purse than usual in april and secure a better opponent than johnson. otherwise he'll likely kill his chances for FOTY 2016. of course, to postpone the johnson defence would require unification, which leaves us with jacobs and saunders, who require $5m apiece to face gennady...

GGG smashed Monroe/Rubio and he's gonna do the same thing to Johnson. The fight will probably be more entertaining because TJ is a scrappy inside fighter.
