Comments Thread For: Marco Antonio Periban Enters The Andre Ward Sweepstakes

“At this time, we can reveal that, yes, we are considering an offer – both monetary and terms for the bout,” Oswaldo Kuchle of Promociones del Pueblo, Periban’s promoter informed BoxingScene.com. “There’s not much else to mention, nor do we wish to negotiate through the media or reveal such terms. We are currently discussing the offer with Marco Antonio and as a team will determine the best course of action for his future.”

"Lucky" to be fouled, clinched, clamped, head butted and held while Ward's home referee just stands there and smiles?

Periban is a dud. He already was blown out by DeGale. He is done, off the circuit.

Not surprising. Barrera was a risk and Periban has somewhat of a fan base being Mexican I guess.

Eh idk about Andre Ward Sweepstakes. Maybe like the Andre Ward bingo raffle or scratch off ticket at best. Floyd, Manny & Canelo have Sweepstakes.

Can Ward fight somewhere other than Oakland for once. Suppose world champions that only fight in their countries is bad enough but Ward doesn't even leave his city.

Or, he could be a plan-B, like stated in the article.
