is Oscar Valdez ready for a Lomachenko bout?

I think Valdez could beat Lomachenko in 2016 as a fan of Valdez but would favor Lomachenko in a 60-40 type of fight....thoughts?

Valdez probably needs to face Miguel Marriaga first & then the fight vs Lomachenko in late 2016.....imo

I've seen both of them fight live at Top Rank cards. I don't think
he's quite ready for Vasyl Lomachenko just yet. I think they would
be throwing him out there too soon. The only world class fighter he
has fought has been Chris Avalos and even with that Avalos he took
that fight on a months notice. All year long Top Rank has been having
those Tru Tv boxing cards matching up their best boxing prospects on
that show like Arum says "sink or swim" I would prefer to see him fight
Saul Rodriguez another Top Rank Lightweight prospect and see how he
does against him and of course the winner moves up in the rankings the
fight that should be made is Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux
I don't think that ever in the history of pro boxing has we've ever seen
two Olympic Gold Medalist fight each other in professional prize contest.

I think he's more ready than most think. But in his situation I don't see a reason to rush when he can get a few more live opponents &/or big fights & gain some more experience to give him a better opportunity to win vs Loma than he has right now.

If you are a random #6 ranked guy by by the WBwhatever than sure grab a Loma fight whenever its offered to you or whenever you can get it, but for a guy like Valdez who can have a much bigger future in the sport & has mainstream potential I think you don't just want to put yourself in the best position for a title fight you wanna put yourself in the best position to win a title.

I find it more likely that Loma moves up to 130 and Valdez fights for his vacant belt.

You said it yourself, Saul fights at 135... Valdez campaigns at 126, why would he take such a risky fight and jump up divisions before considering a fight vs a champion at his own weight division?

Anyway, I think he's almost ready. One or two more fights against live opponents would suffice before throwing him in there with Lomachenko, imo.

Don't get me wrong bro Oscar Valdez is a very talented fighter
if it were up to me I would match him up against Abner Mares in
a Featherweight match up however, that wont happen because
Haymon doesn't work with Top Rank Promotions. I would match
him up against a sold good opponent Evgeny Gradovich, Simpiwe
Vetyeka, Jayson Velez or Ronny Rios that kind of caliber of fighter
and then, when the times right in 2017 or so, a fight with Loma.
