Poochiao would reach God-like status and they'd be doing 30 for 30 documentaries on it already. But that's just a testament of how great tbe is when you think about it. The biggest fight of this era was considered a let down because the guy they wanted to win lost.

Pac would have been named fighter of the year and then some. I think part of the reason would be, cuz despite the promotional hype, nobody really believed that manny ever had what it took to beat mayweather...even the most die hard pac fans. It would have therefore took a special performance by pac, which may have warranted foty. Floyd on the other hand was able to beat manny with a rather ordinary performance...not worthy of foty in the eyes of some. It's all context...for Floyd, beating pac was no big deal, for pac to beat Floyd would have been a huge deal.

If manny won it would have helped boxing instead floyd won and it hurt boxing. Floyd beat manny a fight he claimed was hus biggest win yet he didnt win espy for fighter of the year which he always wins and his ppv did so low the numbers were not released, nobody really showed up to his weigh in and the celebs didnt come out in droves. If pacquaio won and disclosed his shoulder injury he would have been a hero, his ppv buys would be enormous for his last fight over. 1 million buys.

If pacquiao got the decision in that boring ass fight, he would have been hero of the century, almost everyone was rooting for manny, i went to my local casino and it was jam packed, like a couple thousand deep, everytime they showed mannny on the screen cheeers erupted, and manny had fans from every race this wasnt even in vegas, there were like ten floyd fans no lie. Its just how it is floyd is not beloved and manny is, manny would not get criticized at all if he got the decision over floyd. He would be a world hero. But the reason floyd is hated is because the fans expected so much better from him, he is tbe yet fought scared, in order to back up his moniker and talk he would have to outdo and out perform marquez, bradley and morales, he didnt, he did worse than all of them, even bradley put up a more competitive fight than floyd.
