  • Comments Thread For: Cuadras Wants Roman Gonzalez, Naoya Inoue Bouts in 2016

WBC super flyweight champion Carlos Cuadras (34-0-1, 26KOs) wants the best possible fights in 2016.

He had a very good 2015. Cuadras won a twelve round unanimous decision over current WBA interim-champion Luis Concepcion in April. He then stopped Dixon Flores in five rounds in August, and came back on November 28th when he traveled to Japan to win a dominant decision over Koki Eto.

CC's poor defense will do him in & he would b gone b4 8...plus I doubt Gonzalez would go 2 Japan where CC's protected...

Roman is under Akihiko Honda of Teiken Promotions and has fought in Japan nine times.

poor defence is the least of this bums problems...

He moves around a lot but never at the right time, so all he does is waste energy. Speaking of energy this guys stamina is below average at best.

He throws combos which is good, but at times his technique
turns to **** and he starts flailing like a ******ed less accurate Calzaghe.

This clown has an okay uppercut...

Srisaket is a damn good fighter and he had Cuadras hurt many times
before Cuadras quit to save himself from being brutally kod.
So I would expect Roman or Inoue to Ron Salsa this mother****er...

you really seem to dislike Cuadras. Personally I enjoy his style, although I agree... He's very sloppy at times and that leads into unecessary head clashes. I think he would give Roman fits and would give Inoue a nice challenge. He's no push over and by no means is he the weakest belt holder at 115.

Also, all that running is what saved him from Srisaket. I'm a bigger fan of Srisaket myself than Cuadras, and I agree with the fact that Rungvisai almost folded Carlos with a sickening body shot a few times in their title fight, but I'm glad he has a rematch pending. I think both men will come in more focused this time around and I hope they settle the score clearly. May the best man win.

It would be interesting fights but by the way Inoue vs Chocolatito is the biggest fight can be made in lower weight classes
