And I agree its bs with how the WBC has handled this GGG is not worth the money, but too dangerous to fight for peanuts issue for Sergio, Miguel & now Canelo. Either 1)strip the champion or 2)strip the mandatory position. This **** ain't that hard. Either Canelo wants to be the champion & fight his mandatory or not. Either GGG wants to fight the champion or not.

I see your point about Heiland, but he really is the Glazkov of 160.

LOL. I mean I can't really disagree with that, but that shouldn't be what its about. Obviously it is doe to some degree.

To me this whole situation is more frustrating than the Mayweather vs Pacquiao thing & while it hasn't been going on as long I feel like its been going on with different guys since Martinez held the belt.

I mean hell I don't really even understand what the goal is here. If the fight happens in May or September isn't gonna matter. You are either into these two fighting already & ready to throw your money to your cable provider whenever they fight or you're not. I can't see a couple months changing much of anything.

One after the other apparently. I wonder if GGG has to do 2 ring walks or just hangs out in the ring between fights.

Nah, actually the idea of a double header makes good sense, and whilst both Heiland and Johnson are tough and game enough to put up a decent fight neither would be expected to upset the apple cart. The only fights I'd much prefer to see (at 160 / Caneloweight) would be the unifiers - my preference would be Jacobs - Canelo, GGG - BJS, though I ain't sure Jacobs will fight either on HBO and Canelos $s would likely snag him the BJS fight if he chooses.

Cept Heiland hasn't been able to leverage a title shot yet, and probably won't - the WBC ain't gonna be stripping Canelo or GGG for JSH.

...& how dare you compare Heiland to Glazkov! Jorge is actually quite a gutsy and exciting (if slightly limited) fighter whereas Slava is possibly the dullest boxer in the sport.

            I'd rather see Canelo-Heiland than Canelo-Rosado

They should make a final WBC Middleweight Eliminator Jorge
Sebastian Heiland vs. Tureano Johnson winner takes it all. I
know that Tureano Johnson fought Alex Theran at the start
of 2015 for the WBC (Silver) Middleweight Championship and
Golden Boy Promotions recently signed Tureano Johnson they
should definitely try to promote that fight to secure a decent
opponent for Canelo Alvarez will fight on date of May 7, 2016.

Disagree. WBC should have striped Canelo as they promised and given that title to GGG. So next fight for GGG would be Heilland...

Heiland has built up a nice little momentum these past two years (though was a little inactive after Macklin).

                  Maybe he can fight N'Dam

HBO should do a double header with Golovkin/Johnson as the opener and Golovkin/Heiland as the main event.
                    I would love this

Why hasn't Heiland/Johnson been made yet?

There's not enough money in a Johnson/Heiland fight for those two to risk their high rankings. Johnson wanted to do that, but $haw had no interest. They both make more being a mando to Golovkin than they would each other. Notice how both fighters have had long stretches of inactivity as they sit on their high rankings...

I remember Tom Loeffler joking back when the WBA mandated Fletcher to fight GGG and K2 was already committed to Geale, that Golovkin would fight both on the same night. Good luck finding a commission that would allow it, not even sure a title org would sanction it, but it would definitely get people's attention.
