Lol I like how everyone has just blasted him in this thread. The guy has **** all fans.

Haye is talented but always struck me as a guy who was more interested in posing and looking good than actually fighting. The Macca KO was solid but since then he did nothing except beat valuev which was ok just because of the size difference but a 48 year old Holyfield did the same too.

If anyone thinks that David Haye is going to be the same fighter he was when he faced Klitschko etc then they're being very silly.

He's what, 35? Been out of the ring for years, hasn't really looked after himself, was really overweight and has only recently shifted it, bags under his eyes, his wife has left him, lost all his money due to bad investments in the Middle East.

David Haye is back for the money, he's cherry picked some random Aussie bum to get people talking about him again. If he really thought that he could beat the likes of Fury/Wilder/Joshua, he would've fought a legit top 10 HW. Look at Hatton when he decided to come back, unlike Haye, he was genuine about wanting to win a world title, decided to fight a decent contender in Senchenko and got stopped. The same thing would happen to Haye, he's shot as ****.

Part of me wants Fury to fight him, because whilst watching my guy give Haye a brutal beating would be satisfying, there's no way he deserves the payday/title shot.

Don't forget that this is the man who before the Klitschko-Fury fight said he would never fight Tyson Fury because he didn't want to give him a payday. The same man who twice faked injuries to get out of fighting him, costing Fury thousands of pounds in training costs and a year of his prime.

He's an absolute scumbag and an embarrassment to the sport.

Who knows what he has left or if he can compete at the highest level again. I think he will be dangerous to whoever gives him a chance, including Joshua. Big question will be is the speed and power still there and can he move like he did before, maybe not.

There was such excitement with Haye, he was viewed as a breath of fresh air in the heavyweight division. Loads of talent and a loudmouth which always brings attention. And what does he do? Pisses it all away because he'd rather be famous outside of the ring and not fight. People would kill to be in the position he was in and he took it for granted. Deep down inside, when he's gray and bald, looking back to when he was young, he's going to regret not making the most of it. Maybe not publicly but he will think about it all the time, maybe he already is thinking it.

Sure, he lost to Klitschko but everyone did in a 11 year stretch. So many more great fights he could have been involved in but he lacked the heart.

I also find it pathetic that he's trying so hard to fight Joshua. A young, up and coming talent. Why go after someone like this who obviously is still green and perfecting his craft? Is that a manly thing to do, to go over a kid who hasn't even proven anything yet? Of course not, he only cares because Joshua is doing good numbers and wants a paycheck.

I don't think even Haye can convince himself anymore. He stopped convincing everyone but the terminally gullible years ago.
