They're never going to let him back into the US to fight. No decent country will let him in tbh. Unless you plan on streaming this on Nigerian TV I wouldn't get too excited.

Not gonna lie, as soon as I said "no thanks" I immediately thought of this match-up

            Oooooooooooh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttt tt

I'm rarely excited for a 43yr old fighter comeback & I don't got big expectations for Ike, but I've been kinda waiting for this to happen for a long time so looking forward to see what Ike gots left.

Situations like this rarely lead a fighter to becoming a legit contender at his age. On the flip side, he has not been fighting all this time so this could buy him a little more time at his age, but his best bet is to go on a liquid diet of opponents, the kinds that Shannon Briggs seems to dig up out of nowhere. If he is really serious and gets in top shape, he could get to the point of being a ranked contender, though it is doubtful but he would, and if he did, would get knocked off by some contender. I doubt he could beat a contender. Ike from long ago could wreck havoc today but that was then and this is now and time does not stand still for the human body.

Prime Ike would've floored Fury, Wilder, and Klitschko.

This version of Ike gets overwhelmed by Shannon Briggs.

He is too old at 43 but these days lots of very old guys are still fighting. It will be interesting to see what he has left. He would be a hell of a lot tougher than anyone Briggs has fought in years. In fact he is way too tough to qualify as a Briggs opponent.

he's probably still younger than Luis Ortiz real age so if he gets on all the same drugs maybe he can be the next big thing
