So he's okay fighting a lightheavy? Chavez isn't great, but when he is fighting someone from a weight class below like the last fight he is pretty dangerous. I mean its a ridiculous advantage to have.

But Jr won't even come in close to 168. They put a CW on his last fight and had to raise it and Jr still missed it! He's a lightheavy but he is too scared to fight a lightheavy.

Doesn't Deserve A Shot

Chavez Jr. doesn't deserve a title shot. Who has he beat to deserve this opportunity? All he has is the name. However his fan base is declining, he's not putting a$$'s in the seats like he once was. The majority of his fan base is or has already moved towards Canelo, and are starting to go towards Gilberto Ramirez.

Al Haymon was a sucker for giving him all that money. Talk about an investment gone wrong.

His skills are very limited. He has power and that's about it. He only beats opponents that are much smaller than him otherwise he gets beat rather easily. His training habits are horrible. Pisses off world class trainers and wastes their time.

If anything Badou Jack or James DeGale should kick his A$$ so he can finally go away.

Let's be honest if his last name wasn't Chavez he would be a fringe contender/gatekeeper at best.

He could take the bish Ward route and fight nobodies, but he has been fighting top fighters FOR YEARS. Yet people criticize him and judge him based on performances against TOP OPPOSITION.
