Considering he was #2 in the world at one point, yes he was on top, and yes you're ******ed.

      Mismatch

I'm sorry but this is a mismatch. The Ghost was never an elite Welterweight. His best victory against a fringe Top 10 welterweight in Berto. Both Berto and Guerrero are more like gatekeepers and blown up junior welterweights.

The Ghost should capitalize and make as much money as possible because he is clearly on the downside of his career. He got a gift decision his last fight and after this fight will be nothing more than a fringe contender that high level prospects needs to beat to go to the next level.

Swift should win this fight. Fans of his need to see an impressive performance. He hasn't looked dominate unless he was beating down the Salka's and the Paulie's of the world. Herrera and Peterson were very questionable decisions and they went his way.

2016 should be the return of Swift as a Top 10 pound for pound fighter as he once was thought out to be.

          im with guerrero here.
hes been at 147 much longer,
went 12 rounds with thurman holding his own.
does danny garcia still have power at 147?

Only way i see a Gurrero win is if he is **** up for this fight and Garcia isn't.

Otherwise i see a pretty easy win for DG

Yea Guerrero isn't a welter. He's a career feather and lightweight. And he looks pretty shop worn. Not a kid, so I think his age is also catching up along with all the fights.

It looks like an easy win for Danny. But Danny has also been outboxed by pretty much every good boxer he has faced other than Khan. Theophane and Herrera obviously beat him. Peterson did as well if you ask me but that was closer.

So since Danny is pretty easy to outbox, and not that difficult to neutralize since all you have to do is circle away from his left, Guerrero is probably going to look good against Danny. Probably won't win, but I wouldn't be shocked if Guerrero outboxes him.

I can see Guerrero out dogging Garcia in this one... Styles make fights and lately upsets have been a trend in combat sports... I may drop a hundred bucks on this fight... At 7 to one odds?
*food for thought: Garcia was 7-1 vs khan, holm was 12-1 vs rousey, Fury was 5-1, Postol was almost 4-1, and AAron hernandez was 50-1 vs Alexander...

Love To See Guerrero KO Garcia; But They Roll Dice He's Past Prime

They expect Guerrero to be slower, flat footed, one punch at a time, having had too many wars. They may be right, but if Ghost ever had one last big fight in him, I hope it's against Garcia in a big way. Can't stand this weasel.
