No ****. This was the same guy who was 2 rounds away from holding Mayweather to a draw.

If I am not wrong, this would be the first time that Canelo would face a guy his size, who actually punches much harder than him, and also has (apparently) much better stamina than Canelo. If Canelo survives the first six rounds I can see him winning by decision. I think there could be knock downs on each side in this fight, if they do engage in furious exchanges, which is what most of us will be expecting for.
Good post, I agree with this. Canelo will be tested, and I expect GGG to expose him with a quickness.

JMM can think all he wants but what must happen is the fight come off at 160 for the Lineal title that should be GGG's but has been ducked!

What's we don't need is cooking time like Merchant said !

The fight must happen by Sept 2016 or it's the NEXT BIG DUCK

Outcome will be influenced by what weight they fight at. If Canelo insists on catchweight of 155 pounds then it helps him. It's a 50/50 fight.

At 160 pounds I don't see Canelo winning. GGG wins inside 9 rounds.

So Kirkland wasn't a heavy puncher? Lara may not be a hard hitter but he's got decent punch power and a very crispy and accurate one, Cotto was Ko'ing guys at the middeweight division, but suddenly he was too small for Canelo when Geale entered the ring @180 pounds, lol.

Now while I've been on the record saying that GGG KO's Canelo and I'm a big Canelo fan I think that Canelo has a chin. He's never been hurt at all since he turned 20.

It's easy to talk about Canelo winning, but he doesn't appear in a rush to face GGG. I say G by KO inside 9.
