33 years old and 10 years as a pro and he still hasn't fought a top 10 opponent in his own weight class much less P4P. Martin freaking Murray is the best win he has, that is absolutely a joke. Andre Berto was a much much better opponent for Floyd than Murray was for GGG and look at the cramp Floyd caught for fighting Berto. Imagine if over 10 years Floyd's best opponent was worse than Berto. That's what GGG's resume is, a total joke.

Why do people bash GGG on his resume?

He wanted to fight Strum, he called out Martinez, he called out Cotto and he called out Canelo, now if they are not willing to fight him whos left for him to make a GREAT resume. People just don't understand this **** and bring on their ****** hatred for golovkin out of no where.
They say hes 33 and still has got no resume, tell me one thing, do you think GGG would have denied a title fight when he was say in his early twenties? Doesnt every fighter wants to have bigger name as soon as possible. He can't have good names unless its dealt from both sides. First he got a late entry to USA like many other fighters from his ethnic background, he was also let down by his first promotional agency that didnt care for his career and never managed to get him against someone good despite him wanting everyone.
Finally he got to be recognized a bit more and on a steady career, its a shame his haters can't accept their idols don't want him since like a decade of boxing.
It would be trtuly great win for Floyd. Possibly the only true great win of his career. GGG BEATS 160 GUYS FOR FUN. FLOYD HAS YET TO BEAT A 160 GUY.Last edited by hugh grant; 12-25-2015, 12:36 PM.

Because he's easily one of the best fighters in the sport, all the top dogs in the industry agree. It's just whiney, butt hurt boxing fans that try and denigrate him via his resume.
If the only man that can beat him is Ward even though he has a **** resume then that's all you have to know. /end thread.

I agree with everything you said. The biggest GGG haters usually turn out to be huge fans of Ward or Mayweather or both of them. When they find out many fans and boxing writers think GGG is better than either of them today they go crazy with hate. Since neither Ward or Mayweather is ever going to fight GGG all they can do is try to trash GGG's resume. They insist this 33 year old smaller middleweight should move up from his natural weight class of 160 to 168 or 175 or he is a coward. They are praying a good fighter with a huge weight advantage can beat GGG. GGG has worked hard to be a great champion in the glammer 160 pound division and unify it. It would be a ****** move for him to leave the weight class he is champion of and has worked to establish himself in just to risk defeat by fighting much bigger fighters. Some Cotto fans hate GGG as well. They hated hearing the truth that Cotto was avoiding him and had no intention of ever fighting GGG.

MOST of the Lil G fan base consist of a bunch of nerdy sissy ass cornballs who want it BOTH ways....they want Floyd to move up, Ward to move up and for their boyfriend to stay put and feast on can soup...and then they expect others to glorify the bs....Ward and Floyd fans blah blah ****ing blah....swallow a load and get over it....his resume is dull at best because the division is dull...it is what it is!!
Ward would wash that mutha****a and that's why the cornballs wanted to see Ward move up and fight Krusher, a bigger man....it's cool, Ward will fight Krusher and you nerds better HOPE AND PRAY Krusher give Ward the business and take him down that same dark alley he took the old man down...if Ward give Krusher that "L".....oh man, may the forum have mercy on you twats

the ones who are the most rabid members of the GGG hate squad like to try and pretend they are somehow objectively looking at the situation, but we know what its REALLY about, even though they dont have the stones to admit it.
It eats them up inside to see a non-black, non-hispanic fighter getting so much love. They cant ****ing stand it. It permeates every fiber of their being, and they spend all their time trying to think of a way to just make it stop. Problem is, none of the fighters on their "approved list" have a snowballs chance in hell of beating the man, so all they can do is babble on about "but but but resume doe", or claim he is ducking whoever is their boogeyman of the week.
Toughen up ladies and get used to it. The man will be around for quite a while, and odds are he aint getting any darker.

Originally posted by New England View Postthis is absolutely ridiculous. absolutely ridiculous. a really, really ****** thing to say. golovkin is the most avoided fighter in boxing. he's so good that people give fighters a pass for avoiding him at 160, and demand that he goes to 168 [or else it's a duck!]
gennady golovkin is to be blamed for being ducked by martinez, cotto, alvarez, sturm, geale [prior to taking the fight geale had dropped a title to face tony mundine instead of taking golovkin as a mandatory,] quillin? or even arguably avoided by froch, a 168 lber and borderline hall of famer? listen to froch talk about the golovkin fight, if you have not. he's candid about not needing to fight a puncher like that late in his career.
i've found people on bscene to be as deluded and ****** as people outside of it. they just don't get it, and need people to tell them how to think. you're screwing up the cause and the effect.
gennady golovkin lacks big wins because these guys knew he was too good. cotto and martinez are the big ones. he'd F#cking blast those two, and they knew it. their promotors knew it. dibella literally started to say it, word for word, after golovkin destroyed matt macklin. he was avoiding golovkin because he was too good and punched too hard, and he could make more money fighting miguel cotto.
Hes taking, yet again, another step aside fee.
