this is absolutely ridiculous. absolutely ridiculous. a really, really ****** thing to say. golovkin is the most avoided fighter in boxing. he's so good that people give fighters a pass for avoiding him at 160, and demand that he goes to 168 [or else it's a duck!]

gennady golovkin is to be blamed for being ducked by martinez, cotto, alvarez, sturm, geale [prior to taking the fight geale had dropped a title to face tony mundine instead of taking golovkin as a mandatory,] quillin? or even arguably avoided by froch, a 168 lber and borderline hall of famer? listen to froch talk about the golovkin fight, if you have not. he's candid about not needing to fight a puncher like that late in his career.

i've found people on bscene to be as deluded and ****** as people outside of it. they just don't get it, and need people to tell them how to think. you're screwing up the cause and the effect.

gennady golovkin lacks big wins because these guys knew he was too good. cotto and martinez are the big ones. he'd F#cking blast those two, and they knew it. their promotors knew it. dibella literally started to say it, word for word, after golovkin destroyed matt macklin. he was avoiding golovkin because he was too good and punched too hard, and he could make more money fighting miguel cotto.

You can't call out people when you are NOT in a position to be calling anyone out, then when you get to that position and you get offered a fight you look at the other direction, for the hype he had his resume doesn't match it, and no I don't take the "No one want to fight him excuses", maybe when he first came to your guys knowledge in 2012 September after his fight with proksa but not now anymore.

We all saw that Martinez was a cripple, he sold his belt to Cotto for more money. Having said that why would he fight GGG whose resume was not up to scratch like cottos for less money? It's ******ity beyond belief to expect anyone to do the same thing that GGG isn't willing to do now.... Take a risk.

golovkin trying to fight the best fighters at 160 isn't enough, evidently. that's not a standard that other people in boxing are held to, unless they've beaten all of their contenders ["cleaned out a division."]

when you're really, really good at boxing, people start to shift the goal lines. thaty's when you know you've arrived.

Yeah fighting a cripple with no resume or fighting a boyband in Monroe is shifting goal post. If he is that great then go up, Solomon mugabi fought Hagler at 160... No hype

He has a good resume to need to play dumb and argue with these idiots.

The same people are saying Jacobs has a good resume based on win over a similar level opponent and he's been pro ten years.

Now just imagined if Jacobs had GGG resume, these same posters would be saying he has a Hall Of Fame career. It's sad to say but a lot of these posters are prejudice.

                  Merry Christmas.

Nobody rates Jacobs high......the MW division is extremely weak. A whole lot of bums top to bottom with the exception of maybe two fighters. As for fighters duckong him, let's not act as if GGG fought every fighter in the top 10, it would actually put him up with monzon and hagler. His resume is trash because he decided to play it safe.

Idk how you can really **** too hard on the guy with the 3rd best resume in the division (like people love to do) & the two guys, one being a future HOFer, who got him beat don't even wanna fight at 160 they wanna fight at 155.

Overall I think GGG gots the best legit 160lber resume is the funny thing while still myself feeling like GGG should have a better resume. I feel if people like Martinez, Cotto & now Canelo & their people didn't always use their superior position to avoid GGG or HBO had pushed harder he'd have the best resume outright or he'd have at least been given the deserving fights to have the best resume outright if he was to come up short.

GGG's got more former 160lb champions on his resume then anyone. GGG's got more 160lb contenders on his resume than anyone. Really the only reason there is an argument that GGG's resume is lacking is cuz even Jacobs now has a better W than GGG has & he's sorta been like a 160lb Deontay Wilder with how he's been moved.
