Ring TV Live is a creation under Golden Boy that they use broadcast fights that they promote in English. For example right now they have Estrella TV (Spanish Broadcast Only) to show their up and coming prospects and you can see it twice a month but only the main portion of the card (preliminary bout, co main event, then the main event). But with Ring TV Live (Is English Based) they broadcast the entire card from beginning to end. So instead of getting 3 fights you can see 7 to 8 fights.

Right now it's something that you can online through Live Stream or on the Ring Magazine site. Also you can get Ring TV Live through other avenues such as Roku or Amazon Fire.

But Golden Boy's end game is to eventually make their own combat channel on cable.

Many of you should go read Oscar's book if you think Richard was just a glorified bean counter.

He was Oscar's business mentor, key founding member of GBP, and turned it from a startup to a dominant promotion.

In fact Richard even took a step down from his highly lucrative finance position to go run **** at Oscar's boxing promo startup

Oscar even admits he needed to go find someone to run the biz **** because he himself was unable to do so

GB was built because of Oscars fame not Schsefer. The early years they got huge HBO dates for all their fighters because Oscar was the biggest fighter in the game and HBO wanted to keep Oscar on their station. That had nothing to do with schaefer. The fighters who over night signed to his company did so to be aligned with Oscar not because of schaefer. Hopkins, mosley, Barrera etc had no clue or cared who schaefer was at that time. Oscar could of hired anyone and it would still of been successful. At that time anything oscar touched turned gold. Dont believe me dude put out a album and it got nominated for a grammy. And everyone knows this fool cant sing!

Golden boy early success had nothing to do with schaefer and after firing him mid last year all he's done without him is win promoter of the year twice while idiots said they would fold without schaefer. Dude has always been over rated. And of course oscar has other people running his company which can be done with or without schaefer which is my point.

I see we agree, case closed, still just the face but, now he's taking the credit that someone else deserves. Who are the smart people running the company now, do you even know or do you just give credit to the name on the company.

Oscar would have opportunity's regardless but without the business mind of Schaefer he wouldn't have even been a promoter.

Schaefer did both good and bad for Oscar. He helped build Golden Boy, but he made one big mistake in not signing the fighters to Golden Boy, instead they were actually signed to Al Haymon. (that might have been intentional)

And he's already won sports illustrated promoter of the year for 2015 and is the leading candidate for that award by all the major outlets. And your an idiot if you don't think Golden Boy handled all the major aspects for the canelo/cotto PPV. Roc Nation was just along for the ride.

And the most important fights he wasn't the lead promoter.

K2 was for golovkin vs Lemieux
Roc nation was for cotto vs canelo.

Gbp doesn't even have 2 top fighters in the same division.

And last but not least, since when does promoter of the year mean anything?

He made Goldenboy into one of the biggest promotional companies, and helped in making some of the top PPV's ever.
