That is exactly why the thought list was set up with Maidana only having to take a fight against one of those guys. It's an obvious tough fight, but it'll like also be the most lucrative fight of the stretch (any of those fights are big enough to headline Showtime Championship Boxing or a primetime PBC broadcast)
As things stand now, Maidana seems to be leaving a lot of money on the table; no idea what the taxes are in Argentina (or how Maidana breaks up his check to cover his camp/fight expenses), but he could plausibly make the "Mayweather double sweepstakes" money over the course of 5-6 fights, and even set things up so that his children may be set for the rest of their lives before his son gets to high school and his daughter is even in pre-K.Comment

Maidana one of my FAVORITE fighters. Man but his second fight with Mayweather was some MS!!! He was fighting two men in the ring that night. The ref wouldn't let him do jack sht!
I don't understand boxing refs sometimes??? Ref's let Klitz, Postol fighters HUG all night and get MULTIPLE warnings (At least 5) before they even think about taking points off. But as soon as Maidana he REMOTELY got inside to work his bread and butter the ref jumped in their and reset the whole thing???Comment
