    Hbo have a massive edge

Biggest star in boxing now is pac with cloud retired

    Second biggest is canelo

    Should answer your question

Pbc are too scared to build a star as they have to make good fights for that to happen

It all depends on what you're looking for, tbh.

What are the big fights expected on HBO this year?

Kovalev-Ward, maybe Kovalev-Stevenson[PBC], maybe Golovkin-Alvarez(doubt it), maybe Gonzalez-Estrada2(for the fight freaks), maybe Golovkin-Jacobs[PBC], Fury-Klitschko2, and then ... what? I'm basically locked in for every Andre Ward fight, but that's about it, for me anyway.

What are the big Showtime/PBC fights?

      Wilder-Povetkin, Brook-Khan, Wilder-Fury/Klitschko winner.

Beyond that, you've got a slew of fights with PBC's young stars and name fighters (Garcia, Thurman, Chavez Jr, Wilder, Spence, Charlos, etc) and some really good, just straight up fights (Degale-Jack unification, LSC/Russell/Selby/Cuellar faceoff, etc).

As a fight fan, Showtime/PBC (sans not having Andre Ward under the umbrella) delivers more fights and fighters that I actually care to see. If the matchup is good enough, I'll catch an HBO fight at a bar somewhere; otherwise, I've got no use for the channel, tbh.
