When Ward sees this article, he won't want to fight Barrera.

If Barrera turns down Ward's offer even though it's alleged to be his highest payday thus far, will you blame Ward for the fight not coming together?

After Barrera's impressive performance in his last fight, he's earned a decent payday, not the peanuts Ward is offering.

He'll get a better payday against Kovalev. The fight can be in Florida where there are a lot of Cuban boxing fans (Kovalev isn't a prima donna who demands home advantage) and on HBO.

He's a decent fighter with fast hands and some good power. I definitely think he can do some things at LH but I need to see more.

Gonzalez vs Barrera would be good or Shabranskyy

Kovalev won't fight him, there is no way in hell. Kovalev rode off the NAME of a very old B Hop that fighters before him have beaten much better versions of and got no credit but somehow hes the next big thing for doing it, then he outslugged a very middle of the road Pascal. He will not come anywhere near a real threat or else he would have fought Adonis when he had the chance instead of trying to wait him out.

I get you don't like Ward but that doesn't mean you have to be illogical. If the rumors are true, Ward's initial offer during the negotiations is higher that Barrera has ever received....how is that considered "peanuts."

Second, Kovalev has tried and failed to host a fight at home so obviously he'd like to enjoy the same perk.

No surprise to see Ward take the toughest challenges immediately after moving to his 3rd weight class. Ward is a warrior. Other boxers would be wise to study his courage.

Kovalev is a guy who was fighting and KTFO'ing mudda****ers in their hometowns for peanuts. Tell me how scared he is to fight some unproven cuban guy, LOL.

And dont be surprised when Ward gives his next interview sitting in the wheelchair, haha
