I can't think of a more underrated boxer of this year tbh, he never gets mentioned and I only see an article or two about him around his fights with Zepada and Magdaleno. Magdaleno got absolutely spanked.

He isn't the best lightweight but he's the biggest dark horse in boxing.

He won his title because his opponent got injured so yeah fight fans are still a bit skeptical and rightfully so but he has 2 Good Wins under his belt this year

Can he beat Rances Barthelemy or Jorge Linares the other top fighters in his Division? Not really sure yet!

zepeda suffered a freak injury and ormond completely lost his head. he looked better than i expected against magdelano but it's hardly FOTY material

He's also very easy to say yeah but....won his title on a accident and Magdaleno was a 130 lber who never had a chin plus Flanagan reminds a little of McDonnell at bantum huge for the weight which certainly helps.

He's the best British LW but wouldn't even consider him the most underated Brit
