If Ward really wants this fight, and he needs it imho..... then he will pay Barrera, and he will do what needs to be done in order to make it happen..... NO excuses.

Just like Golovkin would have done if he really wanted to fight Ward.

125/500 = 0.25 (Kovalev's net income to gross income for the Hopkins fight)

If This dude was offered 300K and the expenses are about the same, he comes home with 0.25*300 = 75K.

If he loses, there goes his mandatory shot and he has an L on his record. Given the additional opponent of fighting in Ward's backyard with potentially biased judges, it doesn't sound like a great offer to me.
