Comments Thread For: George Groves: I Can Beat DeGale, Abraham, Chudinov, Jack

Super middleweight contender George Groves (21-3, 16KOs) is still very motivated to face the best fighters in his division and he wants to get to them next year. Groves returns to the ring on January 30th, when he faces Andrea Di Luisa at Copper Box Arena in London.

If Groves can get his head straight, and clicks with his new trainer..i feel he can be competitive with some of those fighters.
The DeGale fight (albeit a while back) and the Jack fight were competitive fights.
Who knows though if Groves can comeback from those Froch and Jack set backs? We shall see i suppose.

Depending on what happens with the WBO I think he should go that route either AA or Ramirez would be good fights for him.

Groves just needs a good trainer and he can still make some noise in the division. I don't know if Shane McGuigan was the right choice, though. We will see.

Really proves you didn't watch this fight.

Neither fighter touched each other. Terrible fight.

Nah. Gone off George now. Too many dislikeable comments.

Just never been sold on Groves. Ok speed. Ok power. Complete twat but fun to watch as he attacks well and has a suspect chin.

Could edge Jack in a rematch. Abraham is beatable (but looked like he was on all new a-side super shakes for the last fight). Chudinov I don't know enough about. Degale would own him all day. Too slick these days. The first match was a master stroke by Groves trainer as Groves came out completely defensive and the two of them feinted at each other for 12 rounds. Worst 'grudge match' I ever saw. I don't remember a single solid shot landing.
