Met the guy at a couple fights, real cool. Chilled and talked to him for a minute and he really sat there and listened. He should be bigger than he is, there isn't anything to dislike about the guy

I'm not the biggest fan of Porters fighting style, but you gotta love his hustle. Porters a real throwback fighter. I hope this fight gets made. A tough one to call, but I'm leaNing more towards Porter, I think he can overwhelm thurman with his pressure. Thurman chin is still suspect to me, and we've seen him get hurt to the body.

I hope this fight gets made, but I'm still wondering why Thurman took so long to say he'll accept the fight. I think if Manny announces Bradley, that Thurman would rather fight Khan instead. Khan might be a better financial move for Thurman.

this a good matchup. not a fan of porters pressure fighting style but he does seem humble and always gives other fighters props.its a rarity these days for fighters to be fans of their peers.
as far as the action porter falls in on his own punches and holds a lot. this style seems to frustrate his foes though. would be entertaining to see how thurman can try to box him and keep porter at the end of his punches.

He's the only fighter at welterweight who has actually fought a consistently high level of competition over the past few years. I'm definitely a fan.
