A big fight against someone that was willing to move up and fight other 168 fighters who had also been saying that he wanted to fight him. The guy ducked and Ward moved on.

Golovkin on the other hand is hanging around begging for a fight that might never come against Canelo.

As much as I want to see this fight, I hope GGG doesn't punk out and give into this catchweight bullcrap. He's the mandatory, so Canelo has no leg to stand on aside for crying about being the "A" side. Either fight at 160 or give up the belt.

I think this trash talking is hilarious. GGG fans are rooting for the canelo fight and People who hate GGG are calling for the Ward fight. Where are the Kovalev fights to ask for the Ward-Kovalev fight? Thats the best fight to be made between two top P4P fighters. They are roughly the same age and size and have amazing skills. Ward has superior boxing skills but Kovalev has more power. Ward vs GGG will never happen, Ward wants to fight bums and Kovalev wants a title fight. The situation seems clear, idk why people want to interpret and reach for what is not there.

If you were the best middleweight in the world, and your options were to force Cotto to vacate and then fight a loser or wait and get paid 800,000 for sitting around. I think the choice is clear. You haters love to reach for crap and make stuff up about fighters you dislike. Guys who want money go to PBC and fight bums for the first two years. GGG fights often and makes the opponent look like sht. If the Lemieux fight had a year of buildup, it would've been anticipated and considered a huge win for GGG.
