Ward is fighting at 175 now he wont go back down to 168 anyway. So this fight is out of question. Ward is much bigger than GGG any way. Ward can fight Kovalev and GGG fights Canelo. So we have no size disadvantages for nobody.
GGG should continue to rule at 160 just as Marvin Hagler did back in the day.Last edited by Tobi.G; 12-23-2015, 09:18 AM.Comment

Ward is not rated by WBA either at 168 or 175...
I t seems that, to date, WBO only is rating Ward anywhere -- i.e. WBO has him #4 at 175... And The Ring, as #4 P4P (no weight division or belt mentioned).Comment

Lmao @ most of the posters in this thread. Why you actin like y'all don't wanna see this fight?
I think on Twitter team GGG were claiming they wanted to fight 3 times in 2016, not sure how that will work but hopefully there is at least one other good fight in there for him. I'd be a little upset if all we get is Johnson and Canelo.Comment

They don't give a **** about legacy, they said all they cared about was unifying all the titles but yet again they've made a deal to step aside instead of forcing the mandatory position. Dancing to Canelo's tune in hope of a payday.Comment

weren't you one of the big mouths talking nonsense a week ago when I posted that the "canelo abandons catchweight" story was total BS??
You had plenty to say then, and now you're back to supporting a catchweight.
What a shock.Comment

Some of you guys are so funny.
You will see "GGG is all hype" and "let's see him fight ward"...
So Ward, who now fights at light heavyweight (it has been reported that he can no longer even make 168) is the only fight that would provide a challenge to GGG???
You are basically call ing golovkin the best of his generation without realizing it.Comment
