It would be career suicide for any fighter over 30 to drop a weight class.

Age is unforgiving, no exceptions .

We have a winner. Its not worth the risk. Some fighters have been successful whereas others have ruined their careers.

          END OF THREAD.

            all good fights

He can be a 2 weight champion and get some good names on his resume
MW is a better division and a historically more important than JMW. Just because the fighters in the division aren't American doesn't mean it's a bad division.

What's the difference between a Charlo and BJS except for the fact BJS is more proven.

I would never drop 6 lbs for Lara Andrade or the Charlos. Although they are talented boxers, they are nobodies. They haven't done Jack **** in the fight game for anyone to go chasing them. They enhance no ones legacies as they don't even have one for themselves. Lara has a little bit of clout but he's been miliking that for 5-years.

It was always obvious Golovkin would only go to 154 should Floyd ever want to fight him. For a fight like that, you make sacrifices you otherwise wouldn't. Same was true when Oscar was king and those before him.

What does being American have to do with anything?
